By ROSS RYANDead Red Light went to no.1 in the Irish charts this week with their debut single 'Getting Bad'. The band consists of Lead singer Rory 'The Big Red Machine' Lewis, Dane 'You Will Never Get My Armband" Staunton on bass and Barry "I'm Sick Of It " Byrne on drums.
Rory said they were very proud of their achievement. "We put in a lot of hard work, what else can I say, Oasis are our only inspiration. I can't believe we got to no.1 with our first song, from our first album on the first of the month. I couldn't have got a better birthday present if I tried."
