BY ROSS RYANDaniel and Michael Glasheen from Pineview Gardens were influential in yesterdays semi final victory. Moyross grabbed a late winner with a header from a corner scored by paddy haze. The two brothers played solid all game with Daniel showing heart up front and Michael solid at the back.
The two brothers have been long term Moyross United players and are happy to be finally getting real success. “Ya we are loving it, we have a great chance in the final”, said Michael.
The Moyross A team are not doing too bad either after reaching the semi-final of the Lawson cup last week with a dramatic win over Premier high fliers Jamesboro.
Local supporters were in a jubilant mood “We are Moyross and we are proud” said local man Jamie Daly.
The final of the league cup is to be played on the 2nd of May
