Video highlights of the Moyross Charity game in which the Monks beat the local Gardai by 5 goals to 2 in Shelbourne Park, Limerick, on May 14th, can now be seen on youtube (click here).
The Monks' stars included team captain Fr.Paulus Tautz, Moyross United soccer star Bobby Ryan, local solicitor John Devane, local rapper Jay Red, Munster Rugby star and local resident Keith Earls' dad Ger Earls.
Willie O'Dea TD led the Moyross team as Asst. Manager alongside Limerick FC Manager Pat Scully.
The game was held in aid of the Special Olympics Ireland & Irish Cancer Society
Over 2500 people attended the match. Close to the same number have now seen the video on youtube (click here).
very interesting who put up this link none of the Organisers names mentioned from Moyross (VERY WEIRD INDEED) suppose them same people are feeling an awful lot of pressure over dean Quinn. Andrew Keogh. and Jamie Daly. keep up the great work lads yere flying the moyross flag high. hopefully when ye do keep on doing what yere doing ye will be noticed by doing alot more than the people who say there doing alot around this area long may yere work continue cause im so proud of ye i mean that........
